Business & Economic Development Public Hearing

The Committee on Business & Economic Development will hold a Public Hearing on the following Legislation:

• B23-918, “Local Business Enterprise Clarification Amendment Act of 2020”
• B23-959, “Supporting Local Business Enterprises Amendment Act of 2020”

The Committee invites the public to testify remotely or to submit written testimony. Anyone wishing to testify must sign up in advance by contacting the Committee by e-mail at BusinessEconomicDevelopment@dccouncil.us or by phone and provide their name, phone number or e-mail, organizational affiliation, and title (if any) by 5:00 p.m. on October 23, 2020. Witnesses are encouraged to submit their testimony in writing electronically in advance to BusinessEconomicDevelopment@dccouncil.us. Public witnesses will participate remotely, and the Committee will follow-up with witnesses with additional instructions on how to provide testimony through a web conferencing platform.
