Health and Human Services Public Hearing

The Committee on Health and Human Services will hold a Public Hearing on the following legislation:

• B23-214, the “Direct Support Professional Payment Rate Act of 2019”

The Committee invites the public to testify or to submit written testimony. Anyone wishing to testify at the hearing should contact the Committee via email at humanservices@dccouncil.us or at (202) 724-8170, and provide their name, telephone number, organizational affiliation, and title (if any), by close of business Tuesday, June 11, 2019. Representatives of organizations will be allowed a maximum of five minutes for oral testimony, and individuals will be allowed a maximum of three minutes. Witnesses are encouraged to submit a copy of their written testimony via email to the Committee in advance of the hearing and bring fifteen single-sided copies of their written testimony to the hearing.
